ModernVintageClassic, Inc., based in Marina del Rey, California, has been serving greater Los Angeles including Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Malibu since 2000 and the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California since 2003. MVC, inc started about ten years ago as www.michaelwatch.com which began as a web project while I was living in Sydney, Australia. Those early days of the internet led me to school where I studied web design and development in addition to my graduate business studies. As my academic career approached it’s end, I chose to use my hobby of collecting watches as my final class project. Once it was hosted and live, I began receiving inquiries immediately asking if my items were for sale. And so it began! Over the years, as I had become increasingly dismayed with working for others and not myself, and as my tastes and preferences in watches and other vintage items changed, I began offering bits and pieces of my collection for sale. Since late 1999, I have been collecting, buying and selling, and trading all sorts of wristwatches, clocks, other instruments of time, and various other design inspired items via the internet and trade shows all over the world. ModernVintageClassic, Inc. is the culmination of those experiences as I strive to collect and to offer for sale some of the most rare and unique items anywhere in the world.
